Pleasure and the tricks of scale.

The Future Will Be Tropical is a body of work based from three sources. One, my personal and until recently, private experiences with ghosts. Two, Timothy Morton’s ideas about the Hyperobject, and three, Dominique Gonzales Foresters response to the question what does the future of art look like? “The Future Will Be Tropical”.

I have been thinking about ecology for a long time, and in representation, activism, and conservation have found little success. It is time now for me to start taking advice from a ghost, to attempt to think in other dimensions, and in scales I can barley recognize. This work is an attempt to organize these threads.
